Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a question to which you are unable to find an answer for on this page? You can write to us and ask.

1. Q:  What does the term 'bukkake' mean?
A:  The literal translation of the word 'bukkake' is 'to pour over' or 'to splash.' It is commonly used in conjunction with some Japanese dishes. It has been popularized to refer to the covering of a girl with semen by a series of men. This practice is said to have originated in ancient Japan when all of the men in a village would take turns masturbating onto an unfaithful wife who is compelled to kneel and accept it, but it is more likely a modern incarnation of a porn director's desire to use Japanese censorship of genitalia to his advantage.
2. Q:  Is there a difference between bukkake and gokkun?
A:  Yes. Some bukkake--although, not all, unfortunately--also involves gokkun. Gokkun is an onomatopoeia (a word read as a sound) representing the sound of a person swallowing. It is the equivalent to the English word gulp. In many bukkake movies girls' faces are only covered in semen, while in others they also accept it into their mouths (it's disappointing when they don't), and in the best movies they swallow what they catch or they collect it into a receptacle (a bowl or cup) and gulp it all down like good little troopers.
3. Q:  Is American bukkake the same as Japanese bukkake?
A:  No. There is a world of difference between the two. Many people who love the Japanese detest the American version, and with good reason in our opinions. Generally speaking, Japanese bukkake is about an innocent-looking, pretty girl from an ancient culture of respect and tradition being defiled and/or humiliated with nary a grimace (even when swallowing).
4. Q:  Is swallowing all that ejaculate unhealthy?
A:  Actually, the truth is quite the contrary. Swallowing a large volume provides a good dose of almost pure protein, so it is especially good for those on the Atkins diet. For much more information and a plethora of personal stories, check out www.DontSpitSwallow.com.
5. Q:  What is so good about all this bukkake business anyway?
A:  Honestly? Everything. :) However, it is not a fetish for all; lots of people are disgusted by it. Obviously, a person's individual feelings toward bukkake is entirely dependent on that person's psychology and life experiences. Although, it isn't too much of a stretch to say that a common enjoyment of it is the fact that a pretty girl from a culture of all-encompassing respect and tradition is humiliating herself by allowing several strangers to do some very intimate things with her. Much of the time she also does some very intimate things to several strangers, and that lack of concern (handing out sexual favors "willy-nilly") is an attractive thing itself. Overall, it would be safe to say that people who enjoy bukkake desire control; it does not mean that they necessarily want to participate in it themselves.
6. Q:  What do all these words mean?! What is tekoki? Nanpa? Gansha? Nakadashi? Penis kenkyu?
A:  There are some standard terms you should become familiar with because they often appear with the descriptions of Japanese movies, and you may even recognize some of them being spoken in the movies.
Gokkun (as mentioned above) means swallow
Tekoki means hand job
Nanpa is the act of a man picking up a girl
Reverse Nanpa is a girl picking up a man
Gansha means facial ejaculation
Nakadashi means ejaculation into the vagina and watching it ooze out
Penis Kenkyu means "study of penis" - usually innocent nanpa girls doing the "studying"
Hip (the American word) is usually used in reference to anal sex
Sugoi means "great"
Kimochi means "it feels good!"

7. Q:  I am adding items to the shopping cart, but it keeps saying it's empty!
A:  This problem should not ever occur if you are logged into an account, so one solution is to login or register (using the form at the bottom of the right menu). If you are not logged in, the shopping cart can only be stored in a cookie on your computer. This means that you probably have cookies disabled, so the shopping cart cannot function properly. If you have your cookies turned on and you are logged in, but are still having trouble, please contact us and we will try to diagnose the problem.
8. Q:  I can't view the sample videos! What codecs do I need to play them on my computer?
A:  All sample videos were encoded with the XviD codec because it offers high quality AVI video with reasonable overhead and is free/open-source. If you have not yet installed it, you can download the codec here (just download the "latest stable binary" or "latest unstable binary" program and execute it to install the codec on your computer). The audio of the videos is MP3.
9. Q:  Do the items have the same quality as the sample images and video clips? (I sure hope not.)
A:  While all sample images and videos on the site were taken from the actual videos, they are usually made at lower size and quality to reduce the size of the download when viewing them. The video of the actual products you will purchase is extremely higher quality. Even though we lower the quality, we keep our videos extremely worthwhile by using a large picture size (normally 540x360 pixels).
10. Q:  Are these just some low quality rips burned onto a disc?
A:  There are countless sites on the web that offer lots of videos at super low prices. Most of our prices are slightly higher because we offer much better quality videos. Most of our items are exact duplicates of the original retail discs, including the full menus and extra features, so you will be purchasing a disc identical to that of one you'd get directly from the movie studio. Such videos are labeled with 'Excellent' as the quality and that specify 'Yes' for menus. Other videos you'll find on jBukkake that are not direct copies of the original will still have great quality; we absolutely will not deal with any videos that are very low quality. We dislike such things as much as you do.
11. Q:  Why aren't there any English subtitles?
A:  As you are probably aware, these unique adult film genres produced in Japan are not sold overseas, so they aren't geared toward viewers from other nations. Besides, most movies lack subtitles of any language. Do you speak Japanese? If you are willing to translate the dialog of movies for us, we will trade your service for our merchandise. Please write to us if you are interested!
12. Q:  Are the genitals of the actors censored? Do you have any uncensored items?
A:  The vast majority of our items are copies of legal, legitimate features originally sold in Japan, and Japanese law dictates that at no time will genitalia (meaning penis, testicles, and vagina, but the anus is allowed since they belong to men and women alike) be allowed in print for both still and moving images, so all such items do have all genitals obscured with a digital mosaic. It may be unwelcome to most Western viewers of porn, but it quickly becomes unnoticeable for most. Any items that were not created in Japan and thus lack the censorship of genital will be clearly marked as UNCENSORED.

13. Q:  Do you ship internationally?
A:  Yes. There are three methods of shipment for all destinations. It is up to you to determine the import laws of your country, but we will do what we can to make your receiving your package as easy as possible. Note that the estimated delivery times are for US deliveries, and international shipping may take several more days.
14. Q:  How are the items shipped?
A:  All packages use a thick, protective envelope of some kind (depending on the size of your order). With normal shipping, our return address and your address appear on the outside of the package, and an invoice containing the order details are included. The items are plain discs and have only the item ID written on the sleeve in which they are held. We offer a "privacy packing" option because there are countless individuals who don't have the freedom (or are too embarassed to exercise it) to flaunt your business to the world. It is a free service and if you select it, we will do what we can to conceal the contents of your package. You can supply us with specific details for how you would like it accomplished, or you can allow us to: write a fictitious business name on the outside of the package, write misleading information on each sleeve (along with the item ID) such as "Data Backup," and generate an erroneous invoice describing the discs as something innocuous.
15. Q:  Why should I become a member? What does it co$t?
A:  While you can still add items to a shopping cart without an account (but it is remembered only on computer from which you create it), you must be a member to place an order. Also, if you elect to, you can receive occasional announcements and inventory updates via email. Once you are a member you will be able to specify post messages in our Forum. The best reason to become a member is that there will be special collections from time to time of photos and videos inaccessible to non-members. Becoming a member is free and a quick process that only requires your email address and a password.
16. Q:  I can't log in to my account. What's going on?
A:  The most common cause for the inability to log in is that cookies are disabled on your computer. Insure your cookies are turned on before you log in. If problems persist and you are certain your login information is valid, contact us and describe the problem. We'll try to help.

17. Q:  How do I pay for my order?
A:  At the present time, the only accepted method of payment is PayPal. It is a quick, easy, and safe way to submit multiple forms of payment to other people around the world and an account with PayPal is not required to submit payment. You will have the opportunity to pay immediately upon placing your order on your order summary page. You may also submit payment from the detail page for your order in your Order History.
18. Q:  I've already paid for my order, but my Order History doesn't show my payment. What's going on?
A:  Once you have submitted payment through PayPal, it may take a matter of minutes before the payment is recorded in your jBukkake.com account. Wait a short time and check your Order History after submitting payment and it should be present.
